Adult Care Centers (Senior Concerns, Mary Health of the Sick, T.O. Healthcare) – Assist special needs seniors by engaging them in activities: walking, dancing, music programs, arts and crafts, games, etc.; assist as a front desk receptionist; provide clerical support and other opportunities. click here to sign up
American Red Cross - Various responsibilities. CPR and First Aid trainers (requires 22 hours of training) teach classes to the public. Continuous need for disaster responders. Tax Prepares– Volunteers attend training sessions at the Goebel Senior Adult Center during the month of January to become an IRS authorized tax assistant. Volunteers then prepare taxes for low-income and senior residents of Thousand Oaks during the months of February—April. Must be comfortable using a computer. click here to sign up

Westminster Free Clinic– Health care professionals. This is a non-profit organization which provides basic health care to uninsured homeless and working poor people of East Ventura County.
